Inspired by Life List

I've just found this community and I find the idea of a bucket list really inspiring! Even more, that people aren't just thinking about them but actively pursuing their goals; thats what I want to do :)

In terms of lifelong goals, I've achieved some things in the last 10 years that count towards my life list.  For example, moving out of my parent's house; getting counselling; getting a degree; having a savings account; getting married; owning my own house.  But there are so many other things, big and small that I really want to do, and I think its time to list them and begin working towards achieving them instead of just vaguely thinking, someday...

1.Visit every continent
2. Live somewhere abroad for at least 1 year
3. Take a career break
4. Learn to jive
5. Speak a language other than English (this could help with #2)
6. Spend a whole day relaxing in a spa without feeling guilty or a spendthrift
7. Be mortgage free (and still have the house!)
8. See Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand & Laos
9. Train across Russia
10. Car across America
11. Use a gym
12. Bake a cake from scratch
13. See the Northern lights
14. Write a book
15. Learn to use my camera properly and graduate to a full SLR
16. Try raw sushi
17. Volunteer for something
18. Hot air balloon ride
20. Surprise my husband
21. Forgive my mother
22. Do a job I love
23. Make sure I keep my friends close
24. Always make time to enjoy the little things, because they are the big things in the end

Well, I think thats enough to be going on with... time to get started!

4. raise my "hypothetical not yet conceived or adopted" children to believe in what America stands for.
5. Fall madly in love with my fiance every day, even on days when he drives me crazy

6. Climb Diamondhead ONE MORE TIME!
7. Go to Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Samoa, and Tahiti.
8. GO to those tombs they found under the Vatican.
9. Stay best friends with the girl who still makes me giggle like a teenager.

12. Learn to read Latin
13. Kick my brothers butt at Super Mario Kart like 10 more times..even though he no longer has the N64

Christmas lights ... Really?

So we moved into this neighborhood right next to my partners work.

It's just now I learn we have moved into a Christmas Lights neighborhood meaning each house in our little street put christmas lights up on their house.

And they all expect us to as well.

Yeah right. Like I have spare money to pay a ridiculous power bill when I am planning a wedding.

Bloody hell.
